Corsomed is commercializing a novel sleep apnea therapy based on 10 years of research at the University of California, San Francisco.
The device uses a small, passive implant that is attached to the hyoid bone during a short procedure in an outpatient setting. At night, users don a comfortable neck band. The band contains a magnet that attracts the implant, keeping the airway open and preventing interrupted breathing.
We track key parameters of sleep in our app that help patients improve their sleep quality and duration.
